Download as PDF (0.3 MB)SLR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donations pay for venues and insurance, children's supplies and volunteer support, and for free or low-cost places for families who need them.
Donating on the website
Press Donate at the top of the website (or open https://www.seattlelittlerangers.org/donate). The donation form is on that page. It is run by Zeffy, a free payment platform for nonprofits: enter an amount and your details, pay, and it is done. Zeffy emails you a receipt, which you can use for your taxes.
Under the form are three notes:

1. Zeffy suggests a tip for itself (about 17%)
This is added on top of your donation and goes to Zeffy. None of it reaches SLR; it is how Zeffy stays free for nonprofits. You don't have to give it: set that dropdown to Other and the amount to 0. Whichever you choose, the amount you give SLR is the same.
2. Paying with Apple Pay or Google Pay
These don't work in the form inside our page. Press the link in the note to open Zeffy's own full donation page, where they do.
3. Large gifts, Zelle, stock or a donor-advised fund
For more than $20,000, or to give by Zelle, stock or a donor-advised fund, email SeattleLittleRangers@gmail.com and we will reply with how.
Common questions
Is my donation tax-deductible?
SLR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and eligible contributions are tax-deductible. Zeffy emails you a receipt. If you give by Zelle, email us and we will write one. For a single gift of $250 or more, you need our written receipt for your taxes.
My company would like to sponsor an event?
The sponsorship options are lower down the Donate page (Title Partner, Community Partner, Community Friend). Email SeattleLittleRangers@gmail.com to talk to us.
Is the membership fee the same as a donation?
No. Membership is $60 a year per household and comes with member benefits; see Becoming an SLR member family.
