About Us
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to inspiring children to explore nature and grow with confidence.
Seattle Little Rangers · 森野童行
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit inspiring children to explore nature, learn by doing, and grow in curiosity, confidence, and care for their community and environment.
We serve families across the Greater Seattle Area through nature exploration and hands-on experiences — helping children build strength, teamwork, creativity, and environmental awareness.
We offer year-round family activities, from nature exploration and camping to parent workshops, community events, and environmental projects.
Our Mission
To nurture children's physical, mental, and social development through safe, inclusive, and enriching outdoor experiences — removing barriers to nature and inspiring a lifelong love of the outdoors for every child.
What We Do
From the trails to the classroom, every experience is designed to help children and families thrive together.
Nature Exploration
Guided hikes, trail walks, and wildlife discovery in Seattle's stunning parks and forests.
Outdoor Camping
Family camping experiences that build confidence, teamwork, and a love for the outdoors.
Parent Workshops
Educational sessions empowering parents to foster outdoor curiosity at home.
Environmental Projects
Hands-on conservation and stewardship projects teaching children to care for the planet.
Our Core Values
Inclusion First
We ensure no family is left out. Free and low-cost spots are always available for families in need — because every child deserves nature.
Growth Through Doing
We believe children learn best through real, hands-on experiences in the natural world — not just reading about it.
Community & Care
We build lasting relationships between children, families, volunteers, and the environment they share together.
